And don’t forget Day at the Capitol at 12:15, briefing starts at 12:30, this Wednesday, February 5th.

  • Colorado Springs chapter meeting will happen this Saturday, February 8, at the Penrose Library downtown in the Aspen room. The YMCA was not available for this month only. Library opens at 10. Meeting starts at 10:30 and will adjourn no later than 12:30. Then we should all go get lunch somewhere.

  • Hope to see many of you at Day at the Capitol. Speakers and briefing begin at 12:30 at the Old Supreme Court chambers in the Capitol. Check with buddies and help each other get the transportation you need to join us at Day at the Capitol. If you have questions call myself or Dan Burke.

Two more announcements below:

  • Hello everybody in the land of NFB and CCB. Have we got a deal for you. Free pizza. Free associating. February 13 is your lucky day. Pizza and improvisation at CCB. Thursday Feb. 13 at 4:45 pizza is served. Improv served at 5:30.

Add an “e” to improv. You get improve. Participation in an improvisation experience will improve your disposition. Improv will boost your confidence. I observed Maryann and Paul Migliorelli in action leading improv exercises at the NFBCO state convention last fall. I was stunned! In the beginning folks were timid, reluctant to express themselves. Unwilling to let their wit, imagination, and spirit shine. It wasn’t long before Maryann and Paul had us in the palm of their hands. Magic happened around that circle. So join us for pizza and merriment. RSVP to: Robert Dyson at CCB, 303-778-1130, rdyson@cocenter.org.
