There is always something happening.
There is always something fun. There is always advocacy to be done. There is
always a need to raise money. I call to your attention this Open Mic Night announcement
from the National Federation of the Blind Denver Chapter. Let your friends and
colleagues know about this fun annual fundraising event.
The Denver chapter is excited to
announce that its open mic night will take place this year on Saturday, April
12 at 6 PM. It will be hosted at the Colorado Center for the blind, 2233 W.
Shepperd Ave in Littleton.
Those who have attended in the past
know that this is a hot ticket and only a limited number will be sold. We will
release the link to RSVP in the coming weeks. Each ticket is $30 and includes
two drink tickets, a hot meal, dessert, and a five minute performance spot if
you would like. Do you like to perform? Sing? Fancy yourself a comedian? Write
or love to share poetry? Start practicing because your friends are ready to be
entertained!
Drink tickets will only be provided to those 21 years of age or older, and includes your choice of beer, wine, seltzer, and this year we will be adding Jell-O shots! Non-alcoholic drinks are unlimited.
